Practical examples of control charts for services. Take away some tried and tested practical group or team building techniques. Use of Pareto Analysis of Data. Practical examples of flow charts. Find out about 4th Generation management theories. |
To visit Marshalls and talk to employees. To visit other organisations (not necessarily experts) to gain knowledge. I would like people to come to my team & share their knowledge with them. |

Build up a knowledge/skill bank - Who knows what? Share case study examples of Real Life improvements. Themed discussions e.g. How to do it with-out commitment from the top. Learning as a team not just presentations.

I like to try Bell Boating. Id like to try some team building exercises which we could use back at base. Go on a White Rose boat trip. Learn new team working exercises. Perhaps more activities to aid Learning. |
Have presentations to share practical tips. Further practical examples of implementation/progress (Just like todays - excellent). Have an opportunity to share tips on good/bad working practices etc. Id like another session similar to todays, ie people describing what they are doing at the sharp end. Brainstorming where people are given the opportunity to share a practical experience of a good example or bad example of when the Deming philosophy has been used. Article/Book Reviews Hear about Deming influenced communication methods. Session on how Deming /4GM/CI could or should affect management accounts. |
Flow Chart Workshop (beginners) Understand how control charts can help with staffing level management. Have a chance to practice problem solving techniques (to become more confident about using them) Leadership skills - how to improve/ facilitiate/ identify.

Id like a debate between a pro-Demingite and a sceptic. Discussions with / presentations by people with different views e.g. "ISO9000 & Deming are compatible -continual improvement isnt appropriate -advocates of reward systems -other quality/mgt approaches Keeping up to date with what is new. |

How about an overnight stay & outdoor team-building event at High Tren House. Bell-Boating. I would like us to do something together - perphaps a community project. |
I would like facilitated discussions re Agrego topics/problems. A discussion about overcoming resistance. Exploring CI application is soft processes, e.g. Social Services. Structured problem solving forum, - delegate presents - group works on it. (Action learning?) I would like to set up project teams to help people with the problems they are having in the workplace.
